Rising Star Cup To Alec Melvin
Alec Melvin had a convincing win in last nights Stingaz Surf and Skate Rising Star Cup, at the Coates Hire Bunbury Speedway.
Melvin won the Feature race from State Champion, Hayden Purnell, whil Collie's Ethan Genev finished third.
A disappointing field entrered the event, with Alec Melvin starting well, with Genev and Purnell runnig side by side for several laps.
Liam Hambley unfortuanatly withdrew early with a flat right rear and having battery problems all night.
While Genev and Purnell fought for the minor placings, Melvin opened a commanding lead, to win convincingly.
