The field for the rescheduled 2019/2020 SSA Production Sedans WA State Title has today been released, with a field over sixty cars set to do battle on Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th October 2020 at the Make Smoking History Bunbury Speedway.

Originally scheduled for early April, the twenty third running of the event will see Jamie Oldfield try and defend the title he won at Ellenbrook back at Easter in 2019 against the best SSA Production Sedans the West has to offer.

No less than six former winners are in the field which includes Richard Nelson (2005/2006), Mick Hamon (2014/2015), Drew Ogle (2016/2017), Barry Rose (2017/2018), five time winner Ron Belfield and Kye Blight who returns to the class where he first rose to promience when he won as a sixteen year old at Kalgoorlie in 2009.

Current Victorian Champion Beau Riley should start as one of the favourites after enjoying a stellar run recently in major events along with Kyle Sayer who was untouchable at the recent RDA Production Sedan Classic back on Fathers Day.

Both Sayer and Riley have both finished on the podium twice previously with former placegetters Rick Musarra and 2010 National Champion Rod Musarra who has finished runner up on five occasions both strong chances in their Cranecorp Holden Commodores.

Former WA Street Stock Champions Jason Oldfield and Hayden Norman are joined by former WA Modified Sedan Champions Aydan Trewern, Shane Brittain and the current WA Modified Sedan Champion Branden Fraser in the field along with former WA Super Sedan Champion Frank Does.

Recent SSA Junior Sedan graduates Josh Fraser, Jayke Malcolm, Jayden McCuish, Ashley Baker and Jack McAuley are sure to make their presence felt with McAuley in strong form in the north of the state in recent months.

Racing will commence from 5pm both nights with SSA Street Stocks and SSA Junior Sedans on the support card on the Sunday Night.
