Local Speedway heroes are set to lead the charge and wow race fans in the North West Series Super Sedan Stampede 2009, hoping to show the boys from the Big Smoke just how it’s done, when the WA Super Sedan Series commences this weekend.
Bolstering the home front is Broome’s Kodee Brown WA#1, the youngest driver ever to win the WA Super Sedan State Title, Darren Ahearn from Tom Price and other Broome drivers Brent Halliday, Warren Minshull and Joel Handford.
The North West Series Super Sedan Stampede 2009, is a prestigious and well supported event with an expected strong competitor base visiting from all regions of Western Australia and sure to attract the leading drivers and race teams from right across the state. Super Sedans are the elite Sedan division and the V8 Supercars of Speedway and a crowd favourite especially in Regional WA. Interest and following of the event will be highly sought after.
Newman Tom Price and Port Hedland Speedways are delighted to be hosting this Premier Event that marks the start of the WA Super Sedan Summer Series calendar and is noted as one of the highlights of their seasons racing. Organisers are extremely confident the three day competition will attract huge crowds.
