The tenth season of the Perth Motorplex commences on Saturday night, with the Grand Opening Showdown, which includes the second round of the Super Sedan Summer Series.

West Australian Champion Kodee Brown, will make the long trip from Broome to take part in the opening night of Western Australia's premier venue. Brown is currently tied for second place in the series, after the northern swing which saw events at Tom Price, Newman and Port Hedland.

Series leader, Gary Higgs and son Dustin Higgs are also in Saturday nights field, along with former State Champions Marc Giancola, Frank Does, Keith Higgs and Bert Vosbergen.

The sixteen entrants will contest three twelve lap events at the Motorplex as part of the second round of the series.
