The fifth round of the Super Sedan Summer Series will be held at the Kalgoorlie International Speedway in Western Australia on Saturday night.

It will be a completely different line-up, to that which took part in round four at the Smokefree Collie Speedway, with Frank Does returning after mechanical issues kept him out of the round, while Andrew Kennedy, Dean Shore, Robbie Bawdon and John Nichols all of Kalgoorlie will be taking part for the first time this season.

Series leader Gary Higgs will head the line-up for the Goldfields round, holding a sixteen point lead of son, Dustin Higgs, while Kodee Brown is a further thirty eight point further back in third place.

Peter Lyall, Murray Iwanow, John O'Callaghan, Jim Holland and Darren Larson will also make the trip east, for what should be an interesting round, due to the addition of the strong Kalgoorlie presence, which until now, have not been in the series.

Six heat races along with a 20 lap Feature race face drivers in the fifth round. Drivers will then have a quick turn around, with the sixth round being held at the Perth Motorplex on Saturday, 12 December 2009 as part of the Sedan Muster.
