It was a Higgs trifecta at the Perth Motorplex on Saturday night, with the sixth round of the Super Sedan Summer Series, as part of the Sedan Muster.

Keith Higgs won an entertaining 20 lap Feature Race, defeating Gary Higgs and Dustin Higgs, in a race which had plenty of three and four wide racing, and ultimately came down to the wire.

The initial start was aborted when Bert Vosbergen and James Holland spun in the opening corner, before Micheal Nash and John Triplett both hit the fence on the second attempt. Triplett would be forced to retire.

Keith Higgs would again lead the field, getting the better of the start over pole sitter, Frank Does. Kemble Aylett, Gary Higgs, Kodee Brown and Dustin Higgs were not far behind, as the race settled.

Dustin Higgs moved to fourth nearing the half way mark of the race, with Kodee Brown and Peter Lyall of Carnarvon fighting for the position with him, while Aylett had slipped back to seventh.

Higgs and Does continued to fight for the lead, while Gary and Dustin Higgs were closing the gap, with a fifty metre gap back to Brown, Lyall, Murray Iwanow and Aylett.

With six laps to go, Micheal Nash would spin, bunching the field back together, all of whom were still on the lead lap.

Gary Higgs would pass Does to take second place, before setting out after Keith Higgs, who appeared to have the measure of his rivals. Dustin Higgs had a great battle with Does in the concluding stages, taking third place on the final corner, to record a Higgs trifecta.

Earlier, Gary Higgs, Frank Does, Darren Larson and Kemble Aylett were successful in the heat races. Larson won heat three, after Does spun on the last corner, while in the lead handing Larson a close victory, as Does tried to recover. Keith Higgs would earn a front row in the Feature race, after a very exciting pole shuffle, where he systematically disposed of all of the opposition, prior to going down in the decider against Does.
