The Super Sedan Summer Series has reached the half way mark of the season, with six rounds remaining, in the highly successful West Australian Series.
Gary Higgs is the current points leader going into round seven which will be held at Albany's Atwell Park, on Saturday 16 January 2010.
Higgs leads son Dustin and current State Champion Kodee Brown, with Darren Larsen having a great season in fourth place. The top four on points may be set at the moment, but the series is still set for some tremendous racing in the second half of the year.
The first half of the series has visited the Northwest towns of Newman, Tom Price and Port Hedland, with events also held at Collie, Kalgoorlie and the Perth Motorplex.
Frank Does, Marc Giancola, Peter Lyall, Murraw Iwanow and Kevin Bell have all shown great speed at different points throughout the season, and for the first time for the season, all will be present at the same round, making the round at Albany one not to miss.
After Albany, further rounds of the series will be held at Manjimup and the Perth Motorplex, including both nights of the World Series Sprintcars.
