Kodee Brown continued his impressive new year form, winning his second consecutive Feature race, after winning at the Perth Motorplex on Saturday night, as part of round nine of the Super Sedan Summer Series.

Rain caused an initial delay to proceedings, but aided the Motorplex venue, providing some of the fastest racing of the season.

Dustin Higgs won the opening heat from Frank Does and Kodee Brown, before Brown defeated Kemble Aylett and Bill Gibbs in the second preliminary.

The second heat had a serious accident, which resulted in Shayne Reid hitting the fence at high speed, resulting in Reid being taken to hospital. Reid was later released. The crash would see numerous cars retire from the event including Peter Lyall and Darren Larson.

Kodee Brown dominated the Feature race defeating Frank Does and Marc Giancola.

Frank Does set one of the quickest Super Sedan times of the season, with a very fast 16.743 in the Feature race, while Kemble Aylett continued to impress at the Motorplex venue, finishing third overall, in the three race Motorplex format.
