In what can only be described at a totally dominant display, Marc Giancola thrashed his rivals at the Perth Motorplex on Saturday night, in the 20 lap Feature Race, in record time.

The Feature Race promised to be exciting after Friday nights thriller, between Dustin Higgs and Kemble Aylett, but Giancola cancelled any hope of a repeat performance, leaving his rivals well behind.

Giancola opened a handy lead early in the Feature event, witnessed by a huge crowd at the Motorplex venue, and continually extended that lead, the further the event run. Giancola, who admitted later to having power steering issues, lapped up to fifth place, with Gary Higgs almost half a lap behind in second place.

Higgs was having his own battle with Kodee Brown, while Murray Iwanow and Aylett were the only other cars on the lead lap.

Earlier, Giancola had a narrow victory over Higgs, who stormed home late in the event, with Murray Iwanow finishing third.

Kodee Brown would lead throughout the second heat only to have Higgs move under Brown on the last corner to take a great win.

Over the two nights of competition, Giancola secured enough points to finish ahead of Brown and Aylett.
