 :: PRESS RELEASE ::
:: Super Sedan Series At Manjimup Saturday Night

Tuesday, February 16, 2010
Jason Crowe - SSA Media

The penultimate round of the Super Sedan Summer Series, will be held at the Manjimup Speedway in the Southwest of Western Australia this Saturday night, with a quality field entered.

On arguably the fastest race surface in the State, eighteen drivers have entered for Saturday nights event, which will determine whether the series finale at the Perth Motorplex in April goes down to the wire.

State Champion, Kodee Brown has closed the gap on Gary Higgs to 22 points, as the two drivers continue to fight for the Series honours.

They will be both hard pressed to take the honours, with Marc Giancola looking to replicate his National Late Model form on the same track, and also his totally dominant display at the Perth Motorplex a fortnight ago.

The field also includes Dustin Higgs, Darren Larson and Murray Iwanow who currently are postioned third, fourth and fifth respectively on the point standings.

The round will also see the debut in the series of "the fourth Higgs", Robert Higgs, with his immaculate Mustang.

After Saturday nights round, nine drivers from Western Australia, will head to Speedway City for the National Title, before a three week break heading into the State Title at Albany, with the season culminating with the final round of the Summer Series at the Perth Motorplex 17 April 2010.
