Junior Sedans
The Junior Sedan category is one of the most exciting and at the same time one of the most controversial categories, in the Speedway Sedans Australia family.
The racing of the Junior Sedan drivers at all venues around Australia is breathtaking. In the early years, this would be the time to go the food outlets, but no longer, as some of Australia's top drivers have come through Junior Sedan ranks.

Sadly along the journey, controversy has at time plagued the category, with several drivers disqualified from State and National Titles, before, during and after events, due to specification infractions.
Junior Sedan drivers are eligible to compete from the age of 10, and as long as they are 16 years of age as at 30 June, can compete at the age of 17. The category is extremely popular, with large fields at almost every meeting.
Engine capacity is restricted to 1200cc which sees competitors compete in Datsun Sunny's, Daihatsu Charades, Suzuki Swifts, Toyota Corollas, and even the odd Leyland Mini still competes.
All States and the Northern Territory apart from New South Wales* hold events for Junior Sedans, while South Australia do not currently hold a State Title.
Nine National Titles have been conducted, with six of the events won by West Australians, who have records going back to 1978 of Junior Sedan competition.
*Not held in NSW due to Government regulations.
