National Titles For 19/20 Announced

Speedway Sedans Australia have today released the details for the 2019/2020 National Titles, with the five venues selected all having had National Titles in the past.

The National Junior Sedan Title has been allocated to the Make Smoking History Collie Speedway, which has previously held a National Junior Sedan, Street Stock and Production Sedan Title, and is a favourite and fans alike in the South West.

Collie held the inaugural Speedway Sedans Australia National Junior Sedan Title in 2003, which was won by Todd Waddell, who would win the first three National Titles. It will be the fourth time the title has been held in Western Australia, who will be looking to find a home town winner, with the last being in 2011 when Mitchell Hade won at Murray Bridge.

The National Super Sedan Title will be held at the Borderline Speedway in South Australia. The venue has been previously voted as the best in Australia by Speedway Australia, and is conducive to great Super Sedan racing.

The third title of the season will be in Tasmania, the Modified Sedan Title will be held at the Cranes Combined Carrick Speedway, with the Modified Sedans. With car numbers growing in Tasmania this should be a great title at the Carrick venue.

A mass influx of Street Stock are expected from the Mainland to head to Tasmania for the National Street Stock Title, to be held at the Gulf Western and Independent Oils Raceway, Latrobe, at Easter. The venue has held this Title before, but not since 2004, and a big field should put on great racing.

The final title of the season will be held at the Ellenbrook Speedway in Western Australia. The venue has hosted one of the most famous National Titles of all time, where Jamie Oldfield won all three finals to win the National Street Stock Title. On this occasion, the venue will host the National Production Sedan Title, which it has never hosted previously, on the ANZAC day long weekend.
